How it works

Generate a Mailchimp API key
In Mailchimp, go to Account > Extras > API Keys and create a new key. Copy it to your clipboard.

Connect in Icodrip
Go to Settings > Integrations > Email, select Mailchimp, and paste your API key. Icodrip detects your data center automatically.

Select audience and tags
Choose the Mailchimp audience where affiliates should be added. Configure tags for each event type: signup, approved, active, paid.

Create automations
Build Mailchimp automations triggered by tag additions. Send a welcome email when a new affiliate is tagged, or a congratulations email when the 'first-sale' tag is applied.

- affiliate.created — Subscriber added to audience with merge fields
- affiliate.approved — 'approved' tag applied, welcome automation triggered
- conversion.created — 'active' tag applied, merge fields updated with sale data
- payout.completed — 'paid' tag applied, payout amount stored in merge field
